We are excited to be part of this great new adventure happening on our very own shores in Long Bay, near the Caicos Marina. The South Bank site is a newly discovered area of interest to be explored by Dr. Shaun Sullivan Ph.D. and Dr. Michael Pateman Ph.D. and will be excavated in search of any Lucayan remains here on Providenciales.
Windwarddev.com are the major sponsors of this archeological dig and are working along with Non-profits organizations such as Turks and Caicos Reef Fund and the Anthropological Research Council and the TCI Museum
where any uncovered artifacts will be committed to and curated for the public to see.
DATES
The dig and all archeological activities will be held from Monday, October 15th through Friday, October 26th 2018.
TEAM
The dig team will be made up of local volunteers and students from the British West Indies Collegiate.
